US experts dwell on cyber security at RBU

MOHALI:The Rayat Bahra University School of Engineering and Technology organised a talk on ‘Cyber security and opportunities for overseas studies’.



Mohali, January 10

The Rayat Bahra University School of Engineering and Technology organised a talk on ‘Cyber security and opportunities for overseas studies’. 

Experts from Saint Peter’s University, USA — Dr Suman Kalia, Doctor of Professional Studies, and Krusty Allan, Senior Assistant Director of International Admission — enlightened the students with their technical and practical experience.

Dr Suman Kalia started the session with general concepts. Students were told about the concepts of cyber security and digital forensic by St Peter’s professional team.

Prof Ajay Goyal, Dean, University School of Engineering and Technology, emphasised on the importance of security in every sphere of life.

Dr Daljit Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, said along with day-to-day studies, technical sessions like these played an important role in the overall grooming of students.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group, emphasised the importance of motivational lectures. — TNS
