Warm send-off given to seniors at Rayat-Bahra

Mohali: The University School of Sciences, University School of Education, University School of Social Sciences, and the University School of Law of the Rayat Bahra Group here on Monday organised separate farewell parties for its outgoing students.

The University School of Sciences bid farewell to the outgoing undergraduate and postgraduate students by organising “Rukhsat 2K18. The celebrations started with ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Gurvinder Singh Bahra, chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group. The main attraction of the programme was modelling by the final-year students. Mandeep was crowned Mr Farewell and Priya as Ms Farewell.

The University School of Education and University School of Social Sciences organised “Bon Voyage 2K18” for the outgoing students of batches of BA, BEd, MA and MEd at the university auditorium. Sakshi was declared Miss Elegant and Sanpreet Singh Mr Elegant, Mahima Miss Personality and Gurinder Singh Mr Personality.

`Ruksat ‘18’ was organised by the University School of Law. The fourth-year students of BA LLB accorded a grand farewell to their seniors. Harpartap Singh Dhaliwal and Jaspreet Kaur were declared Mr and Ms Farewell while Pankaj and Kajal Saini were adjudged Mr Charming and Ms Elegant, respectively. Shubham Sethi and Harpreet Kaur were declared Mr and Ms Personality. The titles of Mr and Ms Well Dressed were bagged by Harkaran Kang and Shreya. TNS
