Even, leaders of various political outfits have started preparations for organising rallies on September 24.
Vends for parsad, traditional sweetmeat Khajla, eateries have already started transacting business.
Some volunteers have come forward to provide literature depicting history of the mela to devotees. The village fair that originated as a small gathering of locals to worship snakes, the embodiment of Gugga Peer over sixteen decades ago has emerged as a mega festival in past three decades. — OC
