CM’s aide caught on camera thrashing bouncer

Abhimanyu Singh, PA to CM, and senior BJP leader Ashok Sukhija, a former honorary secretary, Kurukshetra Vikas Board, were caught on camera thrashing a bouncer of Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty here on Tuesday.

Shetty was chairing the third anniversary programme of Champcash, an android application for business network, while Amrinder Singh, OSD to CM, was also present on the occasion.

Unruly scenes were witnessed around 4pm when both close aides of the 

Chief Minister allegedly assaulted a bouncer.

A video of Abhimanyu and Ashok thrashing a bouncer went viral on the social media. However, both the leaders denied any quarrel.

Abhimanyu claimed that the bouncer had misbehaved with a participant. He said that he spotted a bouncer snatching mobile phone of a participant who wanted to click a selfie with the star. “I, in fact, requested the bouncer to give his phone back, but he denied and misbehaved. I had no fight with anybody,” said Abhimanyu.

Some eyewitnesses said that the bouncer had pushed Abhimanyu who was standing near the dais.

Ashok said he was just trying to calm down the situation. “I have not beaten anybody,” he said. 

No police complaint has been filed so far by anyone. However, as per people present there, the police have detained three bouncers.
