Ferozepur, February 21
The entire rail traffic passing through Haryana, including the Delhi-Panipat-Ambala-Jammu Tawi section and Delhi-Rohtak-Bathinda and Delhi-Rewari-Jaipur routes, has been shut down.
Anuj Prakash, Divisional Railway Manager, Ferozepur division, said the Railways suffered huge losses.
Today, 17 trains were cancelled. These included Amritsar-Saharsa Garibrath, Amritsar-Delhi Shatabdi, Amritsar- Nanded Sachkhand, Amritsar-Kochuveli Superfast, Amritsar-New Delhi Intercity, Amritsar-Kathiar Amrapali Express, Amritsar-New Delhi Paschim Express, Amritsar-Dadar Express, Amritsar-Jaynagar Shaheed, Jalandhar-New Delhi Intercity Express, Amritsar-Sealdah Jallianwala Bagh Express, Dhauladhar Express, Malwa Express, Jammu Tawi-Jamnagar Express, Ferozepur-Mumbai Janta Express, Ferozepur-Delhi Sarairohila Express and Fazilka-Delhi Intercity. — OC
