Sirsa/Fatehabad, July 3
Sandeep Ahuja of Sirsa and Dr Ish Gupta of Fatehabad town have made it to the civil services, the results of which were announced today.
Sandeep Ahuja (29) is an electronics and computer engineering graduate from IIT-Kanpur and is presently getting training as an IRS probationer in Hyderabad.
Dr Ish Gupta (27) did his MBBS course from Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner, and is posted as a medical officer at the primary health centre, Hasanga, in Fatehabad.
For Sandeep, who has done MBA after BTech, it was the fourth attempt and he stood 252. Last time, he made it to the IRS. His elder brother and a prominent physician from Sirsa, Dr RK Mehta, said they knew he would make it to the IAS this time.
With 319th rank, Dr Ish Gupta is hopeful of making it to the IPS or IRS.
“I will try again next time because my aim is to get into administrative services,” he said.
