262 attend free health camp

Chandigarh, January 28

Around 262 underprivileged persons, mostly women, were examined during a free multi-specialty health camp organised by Max India Foundation (MIF), in association with Max Hospital, Mohali, at Dugri Kotli village on Thursday. A team comprising of Dr Ritika from gynaecology department, Dr Ashok Gupta from internal medicine, Dr Vinay from orthopaedics and Dr Harpreet Kapoor from eye specialties addressed the healthcare needs of the examinees. The MIF distributed free medicines.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
