The Rajasthan police on Monday claimed to have nabbed Raj Kumar Dholia (38) of Rajgarh and seized unlicensed .315-bore rifle and .315-bore revolver from his possession. Mewa Singh of Dhabanjhalar was nabbed with .315 unlicensed pistol. OC 

3 killed in road mishaps

Three persons were killed on Monday in road mishaps in Abohar and neighbouring Rajasthan area. Malout resident Bir Singh (47) died when a vehicle hit his motorcycle on the Abohar-Malout highway. Jagdish (55) was killed when the pickup van which he was driving collided with a truck near Hanumangarh. Ramandeep Sikka (22) of Chak 3LC village died when his motorcycle hit a divider on the SriganganagarBikaner highway. OC

NRI booked for firing

An NRI, Mahanveer Singh, of Singhpura village has been booked for allegedly opening fire on a villager on Sunday. The victim, Sukhdev Singh, said the accused fired at him when he was on his way back to the village. OC
