3 more succumb to injuries

Three more Pinjore cylinder blasts victims, namely Dr Vishnu Bansal (48), Roop Lal (60) and Deep Jyoti, have succumbed to severe burn injuries.
With the three deaths, the toll in the incident has increased to 11.
Dr Vishnu, whose condition was stated to be critical, was referred to the PGI, Chandigarh. From there, he was shifted to a private hospital in Mohali where he breathed his last on Sunday night. Dr Vishnu had sustained burns while trying to save members of Krisan Pal Bansal’s family on November 11 night. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. He was the sole breadwinner of the family.
Deep Jyoti died at the Command Hospital on Monday. Roop Lal also died on Monday.
Meanwhile, the condition of Ram Nihar and Manoj is stated to be critical.
The tragic incident had taken place due to a cylinder blast in House No. 349 of Krishan Pal Bansal on November 11 night.
Four members of the Bansal family, including Krishan Pal, his two sons Vikas Bansal and Sachin Bansal, and daughter-in-law Tanu Bansal, died at the PGI, Chandigarh. The incident also proved fatal for Yogesh Kumar, Vikas Bhardwaj (boxer) and his nephew Abhimanyu.
Around 25 injured persons are being treated at different hospitals in Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali.
