35 kids rescued under ‘Operation Smile’

Uttarkashi, August 5

The police have rescued 35 missing children from various places of the state and Uttar Pradesh under ‘Operation Smile’.

SP, Uttarkashi, JR Joshi congratulated the police teams and announced a reward of Rs 2,500. The DIG, Garhwal, also announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for the police team.

Joshi said two teams were formed, which had succeeded in rescuing 35 children from even far-flung areas.

He said last year they rescued 30 children.
