Chandigarh, April 17
As part of its 11th Raising Day celebrations, Yol-based 9 Corps, launched a 10-day trekking expedition to the Indrahar Pass located in the Dhauladhar Ranges in Himachal Pradesh today. The expedition comprising of four officers and 16 other ranks was flagged off by Lt Gen Rajeev Tewari, General Officer Commanding, 9 Corps from McLeodganj near Dharamshala. Led by Major Mahesh Bhagwat, the team will ascend to the Indrahar Pass at an altitude of 15,000 feet starting.
The trekkers will pass through Triund and Lahesh Caves before embarking upon the final ascent.
