96 delegates from India to take part in Dhaka expo

Ludhiana, November 25
In the background of tremendous scope of exports to Bangladesh with India’s total imports in December 2014 of USD 41 billion and Indian exports of USD 7 billion to Bangladesh, India Expo Dhaka is being organised by FIEO on November 28 and 29 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a contingent of 96 delegates representing 53 companies from India. The sectors being represented are footwear, agri and spices, textiles, furniture, packaging material, monobloc pumps, water treatment plant, plastic granules, environment monitoring system, medical testing systems, auto parts, tobacco leaves, quartz, shellac and button lac.
The event is supported by the High Commission of India in Dhaka, the Indo Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) and Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI). The delegation is being led by Sri Ramesh Kumar Agarwal, vice-president and regional chairman (eastern region), FIEO.
Dr Mashiur Rahman, senior adviser to PM economic affairs, Bangladesh will be inaugurate it on November 28.
