Dehradun, March 25
Around 1,500 persons filled their forms for Aadhar card during a camp organised at Garhi Dakra region today.
The residents of Garhi-Dakra area had been demanding a camp to address their Aadhar Card problems. BJP's Sridev Suman Nagar, mandal vice president Devendar Pal Singh and Mussoorie MLA Mussoorie Ganesh Joshi are said to have assisted in setting up of the camp here.
According to Devendar Pal Singh, the administration used four machines to make Aadhar card. Around 1,500 persons are said to have benefited from the service here. He said considering the heavy rush, the duration of the camp has been extended to March 26.
Devendar Pal Singh appealed to the people that they should bring original documents along with a photocopy each to avoid any inconvenience.
