The beautification of Aarti Chowk is moving at fast pace and will be completed in a week.
The beautification work is being carried out by SPS Apollo Hospital.
The beautification of the roundabout includes plantation and installation of fountains along with special LED lights. Special emphasis has been laid to not change the size of the roundabout so that it doesn’t create any hindrance to smooth flow of traffic.
MC Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said Aarti Chowk was among the important chowks of the city. Just as the Fountain Chowk is the landmark and heart of the city, Aarti Chowk represents the city and people in other cities, too, talk about it. “We are hoping that the chowk will be inaugurated within a week,” Thori added.
