Ludhiana, January 8
Once again, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Ludhiana, has been transferred. The incumbent ADC (G), Neeru Katyal, has been transferred to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
Confirming this, Rajat Aggarwal, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, said: “Neeru Katyal, ADC (General), Ludhiana, has been transferred to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar as ADC (General) and ADC (Development). Apneet Riyat, SDM-Jagraon, has been promoted as ADC (General), Ludhiana.”
Neeru Katyal joined as ADC (General) only four days ago on January 5.
Talking to The Tribune, Apneer Riyat said: “I will meet Rajat Aggarwal, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, and join here by the next week.”
Neeru Katyal has been transferred six times from January 2014 to January 2015. She was transferred five times within Malwa. Her sixth transfer is from Malwa to Doaba.
In the beginning of 2014, Neeru Katyal was posted as ADC (G), Ludhiana. She was posted as Land Acquisition
Collector in the Improvement Trust, Ludhiana, with additional charge of returning officer of Jalandhar ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. After the elections, she was again transferred as ADC (G), Ludhiana. She served for nine days as the ADC (G) and was again
transferred as Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, with additional charge of ADC (Jagraon). For the fifth time in the past year, she was again transferred as ADC (G), Ludhiana.
Meanwhile, Neeru Katyal said: “I got to know about my transfer late yesterday night. Today, I am at Jagraon and yet to be relieved from the present assignment.”
