Air Cdre Choudary takes over Srinagar Air Force station

Air Commodore VS Choudary took over command of the Air Force Station, Srinagar, as the Air Officer Commanding (AOC) from Air Commodore Manoj Marathe during an impressive ceremonial parade held at the Air Force station, Srinagar, today.
Srinagar-based defence spokesman Col NN Joshi said Air Commodore VS Choudary was commissioned into the Indian Air Force as a fighter pilot on December 17, 1988. “He has served with various fighter squadrons and has a vast experience in fighter operations. He is a qualified flying instructor and a fighter strike leader. He has undergone the prestigious Defence Services Staff College course.
“During his illustrious career, Air Commodore Choudary has held many important assignments and staff appointments,” he said. eena Rawat took over as the president of the Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Local) from Manjiri Marathe. — TNS
