Anti-encroachment helpline

The building branch of the Municipal Corporation has launched a helpline number to get complaints regarding encroachments.

Ghanshyam Thori, Additional Municipal Commissioner, said mobile number +91 8591777758 had been made operational from today as a Whatsapp helpline for building branch complaints. “Anyone can send pictures of illegal construction along with address to this Whatsapp account. We will forward all such complaints to the Assistant Town Planners (ATPs) concerned and also review them at the weekly meetings. The review meeting will be held every Monday morning at the Zone D office,” said Thori. He said quick action would be taken on complaints.

Residents could also download CRAMAT app from the Google play store on Android phones to lodge their complaints. The application automatically captures coordinates of the location where a photo is clicked.
