Army Commander Rajan Bakhshi visits Dehradun
Dehradun, June 22
Lt Gen Rajan Bakhshi, Army Commander, Central Command, accompanied by Dr Preeti Bakhshi, regional president, Army Wives’ Welfare Association, Central Command, today visited the Raiwala station and Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
The Army Commander expressed his satisfaction on the operational readiness and rigorous training being carried out by the Artillery Brigade at Raiwala. He reviewed the preparations made by the formation towards Disaster Relief/Flood Relief.
He applauded the cleanliness drive being undertaken in conjunction with the Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, under the Swachh Bharat Campaign and also appreciated the efforts being taken for the welfare of ex-servicemen in the adjoining areas.
The Army Commander also visited the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, where he laid a wreath at War Memorial to pay homage to the martyrs. — TNS
