Army man, his mother die in road mishap

Yamunanagar, September 15
An Army man and his mother were killed when their car was hit by a canter near Kurukshetra district’s Sonti village yesterday.
Captain Amit Chauhan (24) and his mother Rajesh were cremated in Jagadhri last evening.
Jasmair Singh Chauhan of Professor Colony here said that his brother Pramod Chauhan, sister-in-law Rajesh and nephew Amit Chauhan were returning from Goga Mari in Rajasthan yesterday when their car was hit by the canter.
He said that Amit and Rajesh died on the spot and Pramod sustained injuries.
He said Amit Chauhan was commissioned in the Army three years ago.
