Arushi Thapa from Doon Global School bagged the first place in the folk dance competition organised by the Avantika NGO at Sai Grace Academy (SGA) here. Sayunkta Thapa from the SGA and Muskan from the PYDS Learning Academy won the second position, while Rishika Gusain from Manav Bharti India International School and Anamika Pundir from Delhi Public School stood third.
Dr Anand Aggrawal and Yogendra Kumar, chairman of SGA, inaugurated the event. Principals and teachers of different schools were felicitated by the NGO for their contribution to the field of education. The principals who were given awards were Sanjeev Vasudev (Drona International School), Arvind Kumar Pandey (Manav Bharti India International School), Dr Rama Anand (Pine Hall School), Anjani Kumar Singh (Vivekanand School) and Jyoti Dhawan (Him Jyoti School). — TNS
