The 27th Annual Baba Bulleh Sha Urs was celebrated at the symbolic tomb of Bulleh Shah, a Punjabi mystic poet, near Bala Hisar with fervour and gaiety here today.

Devotees offered chadars on the tomb of the Sufi mystic poet and sought his blessings. The festivities began with chief priests, Rajpal and Bashir Ahmed, offering prayers at the tomb. Members of the Urs Samiti also offered chaddar and sought blessings from the seer. A qawwali presented by Shajid Sajan Babu Ghoongroowale enthralled devotees.

Qawwals sang from the verses of Baba Bulleh Shah and other Sufi saints. A qawwal women group also sang in praise of Baba Bulleh Shah. Later, a bhandara was organised for devotees.
