For the first time, the industrial area in Bari Brahmana will get its own club, allowing the manufacturing unit owners a meeting place and providing a platform for young entrepreneurs.
This was announced during the meeting of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA), under the presidentship of Lalit Mahajan.
Giving information, Mahajan said the construction of the club building was in a full swing. “We are hopeful that the entire complex will be ready by the end of March. This will be the only industrial club in the country for the industrial fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
He announced that the membership fees for the BBIA members will be Rs 45,000 while it will be Rs 60,000 for others. “It was also approved in the meeting that the members of the first executive committee of the club will be its office-bearers. The remaining five members will be appointed in the next meeting on March 4,” said Ajay Langer, secretary, BBIA Club.
