Beti Bachao has helped improve sex ratio: DC

Sirsa Deputy Commissioner Sharandeep Kaur Brar said yesterday that under the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, sex ratio in Sirsa district had improved. It now stood at 999 girls against 1,000 boys, he claimed.

She said anyone could provide information on 9467270070, regarding female foeticide. She said cash award up to Rs 1 lakh would be given to the inspoke on the occasion. —TNS
