Spiritual guru Mahamandaleshwar Swami Hari Chetnanand Maharaj has termed Shrimad Bhagwad katha as the only means to attain salvation and live life fully without fear.

 

Swami Hari Chetnanand Maharaj is the chief katha vachak at the seven-day Shrimad Bhagwad Katha that commenced at Geet Gobind in Khanna Nagar here today.

 

City MLA Madan Kaushik is organising the religious function and Swami Hari Chetanand Maharaj is rendering Shrimad Bhagwad Katha from 1 pm to 5 pm.

 

As part of the tradition, women devotees held a grand kalash yatra with Ganga jal fetched in specially made earthen pots and ferried to the katha venue at Geet Gobind.

 

Kaushik urged people to listen to the katha as “just by listening to Bhagwad Geeta, one gets immense knowledge about God, spirituality, and salvation and how to live life in a true manner.

 

Satish Kaushik, Brijbala, Narendra, Manisha Kaushik, Babita, Mukesh, Vinay, Vipin, Sachin, Vijay, Ajay, and Vikas Tiwari are among a large number of devotees listening to the katha.
