The ‘Saras Mela-2015’, an exhibition of cultural heritage and handicrafts, is attracting huge crowds in Hoshiarpur. Visitors can be seen enjoying cultural performances by artistes from across the country.
Food stalls are a major draw at the fair. These have been put up by people from various states but Rajasthani and Bihari delicacies are particularly attracting huge crowds. People can be seen trying ‘Litti-chokha’ and ‘Gatte ki sabji’, traditional Bihari delicacies, and Rajasthani thali having eight different delicacies, ‘choorma ladoo’ and Jodhpuri ‘kachauri’.
