Book penned by Badoni released

Uttarakhand’s Pramukh Vyaktee evam Vyaktiv, a book authored by Vijay Nand Badoni, was released here today.

Chief guest former chief minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank appreciated Badoni’s writing talent. He said Uttarakhand region had been home to renowned personalities, who had contributed both to freedom movement and post freedom development of the nation.

State agitationist Ravindra Jugran said he was hopeful that the book would give detailed information about various personalities of Uttarakhand to the readers. He said the book gives insight on lives of personalities like Teelu Rauteli, Chandra Singh Garhwali, Shridev Suman, Kalu Mehra and Gaura Devi.

Former member of the Rashtriya Shahitya Academy, Yogendra Nath Sharma, presided over the release ceremony.
