Srinagar: A BSF jawan was injured when militants opened fire on a convoy in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday morning. “One jawan sustained bullet injuries in the attack,” a BSF official said. His condition is stable. This is the second attack on security forces in Handwara in the past 36 hours. Militants on Thursday opened fire on a police station, but no casualties were reported. PTI
