BSNL officials hold protest

Members of the Sanchar Nigam Executive Association of the BSNL staged a protest in support of their long pending demands here today.
The protesters gathered at the head office at the Windlass Shopping Complex and shouted slogans against the Central Government. They said the Centre should take effective steps to remove pay anomaly. “The state government should implement the recommendations of the Joint Committee. Pay, perks, promotion and pension should be revised timely,” they demanded.
The association said the Centre had failed to address their grievances. A memorandum was submitted to the officials concerned but to no avail, the protesters said.
SS Rauthan, Jai Vikram Singh, Arvind Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Ranjeet Kumar, CB Dwivedi, Praveen Rohilla, RC Bhatnagar, MC Pant, Tarun and SS Rawat were present.
