Camp held to promote solar power generation

Chandigarh, December 5

The Youth Innovative Society, an NGO, and the Department of Science and Technology organised a camp to promote solar power generation in Sector 27 today.

Residents and office-bearers of the Resident Welfare Association, Sector 27, promised to install 100 kW solar power generation systems at roofs of residential houses and commercial establishments. This solar power camp was organised in assocaition with the Resident and Senior Citizens’ Association, Sector 27, and the Renewable Energy Science and Technology Promotion Society (CREST). — TNS
