Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda along with Chief Minister Harish Rawat inaugurated the Cancer Research Institute of the Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust (HIHT) on the occasion of the 20th death anniversary of Swami Rama, the founder of the hospital, at Jollygrant here today.
Nadda said the Himalayan Hospital had been providing medical care not only to residents of Uttarakhand but also of neighbouring states. The Central government was working hard to provide dialysis facilities at the district-level throughout the country so that people below poverty line could benefit.
