Seers of Shri Radha Krishan Temple Trust,Kankhal has sought a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe from state government into the property dispute of the ashram and mysterious death of late Swami Prakashand, who died early this year during the Nashik Maha Kumbh.
In a media briefing here today at Press Club, Swami Maheshwaranand, a disciple of Swami Prakashanad Ji Saraswati, Ram Krishan Mission, Kankhal, said a circle of land mafia in connivance with some former ashramites were trying all illegal means to acquire the ashram property, which runs in several crores.
Swami Maheshwaranand said last week, a few people who claimed to be police personnel had carried out a search operation at the ashram but when he asked for a search warrant they denied of possessing it.
“It was a pressure tactic to intimidate me and fellow ashramites to leave the ashram premises or succumb to their fake ashram property claims. Even some police officials are having nexus with the land mafia, who from time to time pressurise us,” alleged Swami Maheshwaranand.
The seer said Agni Akhada Maha Mandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand, who was appointed as the managing head of the Shri Radha Krishan Ashram, was carrying out his responsibility, but the land and property mafia group was using pressurising tactics to malign his clean image.
The government should direct for a CBI probe into the death of Swami Rasanand also, who was made the head of the ashram and Agni Akhada Maha Mandaleshwar post death of Swami Prakashanand Saraswati.
