Dehradun, December 19
Rajneesh Goyal, vice-president, Chakrata Road Shopkeepers and Residents Welfare Society, has expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Harish Rawat for quashing Chakrata road redevelopment plan. He demanded that the government should notify the orders.
Goyal said the government should try to make city encroachment free instead of launching redevelopment plans. These have adverse effect on businessmen and residents living in the locality. The district administration had already widened Chakrata road, he added. Shashikant Goyal, Rajneesh Agarwal, and Vikram Kalra were also present.—TNS
