The Mohali police were left in a tizzy when they got information that somebody had buried a child near Green Enclave at Daun village last night. However, when the police dug up the site in the presence of duty magistrate, they found the body of a pup instead of a child.

Kulbir Singh Sandhu, Station House Officer, Balongi police station, said a security guard of the colony had informed them that someone had buried a child near the colony. “We dug up the site in the presence of duty magistrate Gurpreet Singh Dhillon. After digging the site, we found the body of a pup, which was buried by someone last night,” said Sandhu.
