Shimla, January 14
The website of famous Shaktipeeth Mata Chintpurni in Una district, which would enable pilgrims to witness “live arti” and to pay their obeisance online, was launched by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh here today.
The website prepared in Hindi, English and Punjabi languages would also facilitate online booking of sarai being run by the trust.
The CM said the website contains comprehensive information as how to reach the temple besides their historical and religious significance and the facilities being provided to pilgrims.
DC Una and Commissioner of temple trust Abhishek Jain said over 40 lakh pilgrims visited Mata Chintpurni last year.
