Kurukshetra, February 28

Leaders of the four communities, including Ror, Jat Sikh, Bishnoi and Tyagi, have demanded the special backward class (SBC) status for themselves in a meeting held at the Ror Dharamshala here today.

Naseeb Singh Karsa, president of All India Ror Mahasabha, said a 110-member delegation from all the four communities will meet Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday to raise their long-pending demand.

Karsa said a unanimous resolution condemning large-scale violence during the Jat agitation was also passed at the meeting.
