Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today paid obeisance at the Baglamukhi temple in the Dehra sub-division of the district.

He was scheduled to visit the Bajjreshwari temple, but at the last moment he changed the programme and visited the Baglamkuhi temple.

Mahant Rajat Giri, chief priest of the temple, said the CM had pooja of the deity for better health, peace and prosperity. He said the CM took tea as ‘prasada’ there.

Official sources said the CM would visit the Bajjreshwari temple tomorrow morning.

In the Bajjreshwari temple, an idol of 16.5 quintals of butter was made on the eve of Makar Sankranti and this idol will be removed tomorrow morning.
