CME on neurometabolic disorders begins tomorrow

The child neurology unit of the Paediatric Department, PGI, in collaboration with the International Child Neurology Association, is organising a two-day CME programme on ‘Neurometabolic disorders - made simple’ at the institute from January 16.

Two internationally-renowned experts in neurometabolic disorders, Dr Ingrid Tein, Director Neurometabolic Unit, Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada, and Dr Linda De Meirleir, Chief of Paediatric Neurology and Neurometabolism, University of Brussels, and Director of Brussels Neonatal Screening Centre, Belgium, would dwell on the disorders. From India, experts, including Prof Pratibha Singh, Head of the Department of Paediatrics, PGI, will deliberate on the subject.— TNS
