Youths will be given free coaching for recruitment in the Army at a centre in DAV College here. College principal Dr SK Arora had earlier announced to provide requisite logistics for coaching. Colonel Anupinder Singh, Commander, 2nd Punjab (E) Company NCC, said at a camp here in the college campus that some youths who had got coaching from their centre in the past had achieved success. At the camp conducted on Friday by Major Sarbjit Singh, 400 youths competed for selection as NCC cadets, out of whom 71 qualified on the basis of various parameters.
