Conference on tech advances at Tula’s Institute

Tula’s Institute in association with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) organised an International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communication and Automation on the college campus here today.

Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) Vice-Chancellor PK Garg and NIC, Dehradun, Technical Director Vinod Taneja inaugurated the conference.

The keynote speakers were Dr SN Singh from IIT Kanpur; USAC & USERC, Dehradun, director Durgesh Pant; MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, Vice-Chancellor Mushahid Husain; and AICTE director Manpreet Singh Manna. Research papers published by IEEE Xplore were released during the conference.

Manna threw light on the role of e-governance in technical and research institute development. He said e-governance was a series of delivery and share of information. He also threw light on the initiatives of the HRD Ministry.

The two-day conference, which focuses on promoting innovative research, is technically supported by IEEE UP Section India. Tula’s Institute Executive Director Silky Jain said, “The conference is aimed at providing an opportunity to the students to showcase their work. It will certainly expose their work at an international platform to give them a vast experience in the field of research.”

Tula’s Institute Chairman Sunil Kumar Jain said, “The academic forum will enable us to converse, besides establishing contact with national and international experts.”The key highlights of the session were discussion on high performance computing, advances in communication, intelligent control system, artificial intelligence and clod computing.
