Irshad Khan, who has been nominated as member of the Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority (HRDA), has assured people of transparent and development-oriented working of the authority.
Irshad also met HRDA chairperson Hari Das and secretary Nidhi Yadav at the office. He emphasised on the need of a planned development and futuristic vision in implementation of master plan and infrastructural projects.
Thanking Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Pradesh Congress Committee president Kishore Upadhayay for entrusting him for this important post, he said, “I will try my best to live up to the expectation of the Chief Minister as well as the people.”
Transparency, accountability, speedy disposal of work and corruption-free working would be on priority, he said.
Congress activists Mahendra Singh Advocate, Naeem Qureshi, Maqbool Qureshi, Chamman Peer, Dharmendra Pradhan, Javed Aalam, Danish Qureshi, Suhail Qureshi, Mohammed Haroon, Khwaja Raees, Hazi Sheikh Ansari, Jubair Alam, Arshad Khan, Gulbahar Khan, Asim Khan, Khalid Khan, Kurban, Firoz, Alishan among others, extended their wishes to Irshad for being nominated to the HRDA.
