Sundernagar, July 20

Sohan Lal Thakur, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, who is also Sundernagar MLA, while interacting with mediapersons here today during the “Meet-the-Press” programme convened by him, said he had been monitoring the complaints received by him against different departments and issued directions to officials to immediately redress the grivences being faced by the public.

He said mediapersons could provide proper feedback whether the government schemes were being implemented properly or not. He said he himself was holding camps in the assembly segment in which he used to listen to grievances of people and tried to solve them on the spot even though some of grievances were directly received from mediapersons, who could give a clean picture of problems faced by the public.

Mediapersons apprised the CPS of the problem faced by local residents due to the defective water supply, bad conditions of roads, erratic power supply and lack of cleanliness in areas under the MC limits.
