CPS: Rs65 lakh spent on Kalwal’s development

The government is committed to ensuring the development of villages and there is no dearth of funds.

This was stated by Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS), while addressing a public gathering after inaugurating a cow shelter at Kalwal village here today.

He said over Rs 65 lakh had been spent on the development of Kalwal village and the cow shelter was built at a cost of over Rs 60 lakh by the Baba Balak Nath Temple Trust.

He said the cow shelter would accommodate 40 cows which would give relief to farmers of the area.

The CPS also donated Rs 21,000 to the committee that would manage the cow shelter.

He urged the people of the area to donate funds so that the cow shelter did not face fund crunch and cows could be reared healthy.
