BHIWANI, OCTOBER 21
With the inauguration of MRI and CT scan machines worth Rs 10 crore at Ch. Bansi Lal Civil Hospital here by Health Minister Anil Vij through remote control from Panchkula today, the long-pending demand of head injury patients has been fulfilled.
Dr RS Poonia, Civil Surgeon, said the machines were installed on the public private partnership mode in three districts— Panchkula, Bhiwani and Gurgaon— and patients could now avail these facilities at subsidized rates. CT and MRI scan of patients would be done at 50% of the market rate at the District Civil Hospital. Even private hospital patients could avail the facility at a lower price than private diagnostic centers. — TNS
