Treating complicated medical cases has now become easy for the doctors. Curofy, a networking app is breaking the geographical barriers and doctors from across the country are helping each other in solving serious and complicated clinical cases.

Dr Rajesh Gopal, a general practitioner from city posted the case of a 63-year-old patient who had diabetes and hypertension on this app to get opinions from experts. The patient reported to Dr Gopal with a red and swollen leg, he was in pain and had been going to various doctors.

Doctors from all over countries and across various specialties posted their views on the case and suggesting various treatment plans.

Soon, a general surgeon from Madurai (Tamil Nadu), helped Dr Gopal to plan a treatment for patients suffering from cellulitis. The patient was kept on an antibiotic therapy and within seven days results were visible. A few days later Dr Gopal posted the clinical pictures of the patient showing marked healing.

“Part of the credit goes to Curofy, a platform for doctors to connect with other medical experts, seek medical advice, take the second opinion, post their requirements, and read and share the latest news related to medical developments. Earlier, doctors working in a remote location were confined to their local hospitals for advice on cases or on second opinions. But with Curofy, a physician from a leading hospital can be a mentor to thousands of doctors all across the country without even meeting them,” said Dr Gopal.

Nipun Goyal, co-founder Curofy says, “Curofy was started to solve the seclusion of healthcare industry. We wanted to create a platform where doctors from all the aspects of medicine could come together and help each other. It is good to see that we have been successful to an extent and that senior doctors are ready to open up and share their expertise. We are determined to keep improving the user experience every day and grow to connect every doctor nationally and globally as well.”

Today, 2, 00,000 doctors all over the country use Curofy, 2,000 from Ludhiana alone, to help each other to solve cases, expand their knowledge and save lives.
