Doctors owing allegiance to the Provincial Medical and Health Services (PMHS) have been demanding implementation of DACP since the state’’s creation, but the government had not accepted the demand on the grounds that other state employees too could demand the same.

Negi asked officials to prepare ground for implementation of the scheme which would ensure promotions for doctors on the Central pattern. He asked officials to implement the Clinical Establishment Act in the state and fill vacant posts through outsourcing. — TNS
