Dead rat found in milk badam bottle

A dead rat was found in a milk badam bottle, sold at an ice-cream parlour in Basti Jodhewal, today.

Alisha, an 8-year-old girl, was taken for a ride after she went to have her favourite drink at a nearest ice-cream parlour.

Alisha’s father Billa said: “She drank the entire bottle of milk badam and when it finished she saw a dead rat at the bottom.”

The girl was immediately rushed to the hospital and is reportedly fine.

District Health Officer Dr Abnash Kumar said he was not aware of the matter and had not received any complaint in this regard.

“We will go to the shop tomorrow and look into the matter,” he said.
