Dehradun, October 27
Dena Bank is planning to expand its base by opening new branches across the state.
Ashwani Kumar, chairman and managing director of Dena Bank, stated this while addressing mediapersons in Dehradun yesterday. He said the bank, at present, has 17 branches and 35 ATMs in the state and plans to open more branches and ATMs shortly.
The Dena Bank branch in Kotdwar is the bank’s first branch in Pauri Garhwal district. The branch would help the bank perform social responsibilities under financial inclusion.
Ashwani Kumar appealed to people to get full benefit of the ongoing schemes of the bank on housing and vehicle loans.
Later in the day, he addressed the staff members of the Dehradun Zone and discussed the strategies with all the branch managers in Uttarakhand for growth of business.
PP Sachdeva, Dena Bank Zonal Manager, and Keshav Ram Deputy Zonal Manager, were also present on the occasion.
