Dheeraj Kumar elected president of Lions Club

Chandigarh: Dheeraj Kumar, a chartered accountant, was elected the president of the Lions Club,Chandigarh Greater, for 2016-2017. It is for the first time in the history of club that an incumbent has been re-elected for the post of the president. Naresh Arora and RK Gupta were elected the secretary and treasurer, respectively.

Manjit Singh, Amarjot Singh and Sunil Seth were elected the first, second and third vice-presidents, respectively. The other elected office-bearers are Baldev Narang (joint secretary), Sushil Kapoor 9director, membership development, SK Rana (PRO), NK Chawla (tamer), VK Arora (tail twister). Ashok Sachdeva, M Singla, Parvesh Malhotra, Harcharan Singh, CP Vohra, Arun Uppal, VK Puniani, Gurcharan Singh, Mukesh Gupta, RK Bishamboo were elected directors. — TNS
