DM asked to vacate govt house

The Department of Estate has issued orders to District Magistrate of Udham Singh Nagar Chandresh Yadav to vacate the government accommodation that he continues to occupy despite his transfer from Dehradun.

Along with Chandresh Yadav, District Magistrate Ravinath Raman has also been issued orders to vacate the accommodation allotted to him when he was Additional Secretary in the Uttarakhand Government. As of now, he continues to occupy two accommodations.

Some other officers who were issued orders to vacate their accommodations early last month have not acted upon the orders. They have been given a month’s notice.

These officers include Savin Bansal, District Magistrate, Almora; Sonika, CDO, Haridwar; SSP Rajiv Swarup; and Additional Secretary Pramod Chand, who has since retired.
