Dogra institutions announce scholarships

The Dogra Group of Institutions, which is celebrating its golden jubilee, has announced scholarships for meritorious students in different professional courses.

The scholarship will be distributed among the students who want to pursue law, BEd, BA, BCom and BBA. Announcing the scholarships for meritorious students, chairman of the Dogra Educational Trust Gulchain Singh Charak informed that the trust had been striving hard for the last 50 years to nurture the talent whichever faith or strata of the society they came from in an effort to transform the society.

He elaborated that those who had secured 75 per cent or more marks in the qualifying examination would be granted scholarship of Rs 5,000 in the first year at the time of admission and the scholarship would continue if the student continued to score 75 per cent or more marks in the subsequent years as well.
